Martin Werbelow LLP has positions currently available at the manager, senior accountant, staff accountant and paraprofessional levels.

Audit Seniors and Managers
Martin Werbelow LLP is seeking auditors with 2-5 years experience who want to make a difference to the clients they serve. These persons will take advantage of the latest technology to better understand our clients business and industry.

They will supervise attest and other engagements and add value during engagements by making real and meaningful recommendations.

Responsibilities will include participation in audit, review, compilation and other engagements under the guidance of a partner by using state of the art technology in new ways. Seniors and managers also assume direct working relationships with clients and assist in the development of staff accountants.

Tax Seniors and Managers
Martin Werbelow LLP is seeking practical, yet creative, tax specialists with 2-5 years experience who have developed a working knowledge of the income tax code. These persons will combine a solid tax background with an enthusiastic desire to bring effective tax planning strategies to middle-market entrepreneurs.

They will supervise tax return preparation engagements and become proficient at tax planning and research.

Responsibilities will include preparation and supervision of tax-oriented and consulting engagements and effective communication with partners, staff and clients.

Staff Accountant
Martin Werbelow LLP is seeking bright and enthusiastic professionals who are looking to see the big picture. These persons will have opportunities to be exposed to a broad range of experiences by participating in financial audits and accounting, income taxation and consulting engagements.

These are energetic persons who are passionate about their profession and have good communication skills and will be interacting with partners, staff and clients on a one-to-one basis.

These young professionals will be on a CPA track and will become proficient in conducting fieldwork, preparing financial statements, and preparing corporate, individual, partnership and fiduciary tax returns.

Paraprofessional
Martin Werbelow LLP is seeking career-oriented persons to work in our Business Services Department as accounting paraprofessional and computer accounting software specialists. These persons will be involved in a variety of tasks. They must be analytical, self-confident, and must work well with all people.

These persons will work with our staff and partners on client engagements and will often have direct contact with clients. Responsibilities will include account reconciliations, payroll processing, general ledger posting, and financial statement preparation using computerized accounting software.

These life-long learners must have a good aptitude for computer applications and account reconciliations. Accounting experience is required.
