He specializes in developing and implementing effective tax strategies and advising business owners, helping them to attain their financial and business goals.

Also, as partner-in-charge of Martin Werbelow LLP's estate and trust tax and accounting practice, Dave utilizes a wealth of experience to assist the executor and trustee through the complex administration process, from death through distribution of assets, and develop and implement effective post-death strategies. Dave uniquely combines a wealth of technical expertise with a caring, personal approach that is responsive to the needs of his clientele.

During his 28 years of public practice, Dave has held several positions of leadership, and is a current member of the Board of Directors of the Pasadena Community Foundation. He is also immediate past statewide treasurer of the Professional Fiduciaries Association of California, and a past president of the Board of Pacific Clinics, a local behavioral health non-profit organization.

Dave's professional memberships include the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the California Society of CPA’s, and Tax Executive Committee – Western Association of Accounting Firms.

Dave earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of California at Santa Barbara and attended La Salle High School in Pasadena. He resides in Pasadena with his wife and three children.
